Invasive mycosis are characterized by a primary or secondary location in the deep dermis, subcutaneous tissues, but also by invasion of bones and viscera. They represent a significant medical problem. An increase in these infections has been observed in recent years, particularly due to the growing number of patients with weakened immune defenses due to illness or immunosuppressive treatment.

The DendrisKIT MI panel makes it possible to identify the presence of more than 80 fungi, yeasts and molds responsible for invasive mycosis in the blood and lungs.
