Customized Chips

We carry out the biochips from the design of the probes to the analysis of the data and we provide the necessary equipment to carry out the DNA chip experiments as well as the personnel to analyze the data.

We have a patented support functionalization technology allowing maximum attachment of probes in a “3D” environment. This technology optimizes the signal/noise ratio resulting from the hybridization of the probes, which significantly increases the sensitivity of the DendrisCHIP.

Probes design

We can realize your customized biochips after defining together their contents, the biological context, the type of probes and the amount of biochips to produce.

Oligonucleotide probes, if not defined by yourself, can be selected by our data analyst, by bioinformatics methods within public databases to allow identification of organisms sought during the diagnosis.

sciFLEXARRAYER

sciFLEXARRAYER SX (Scienion)
used for probes dispensing

The robot is able to dispense really small liquids quantities (300 pL) using the piezoelectric effect. It results with a spot on the target surface made with a precision over 3 µm. We can produce 140 slides or 24 SBS plates, which represent up to 2000 tests per run depending of the number of designed probes.

The detection of the presence and aspect of the droplet both before and after the dispensing on the surface. Secondly, pictures of the spotted zone control the presence of the spot on the surface.

From 2019 to 2023, Dendris signs a partnership with LALLEMAND / UMR for the development of a biochip for diagnosis of ruminal fibrolytic activity.

Lallemand, world leader in the development, production and sale of yeasts, bacteria and derived ingredients, associated with UMR MEDIS (Digestive environment and health microbiology dependent on Inra and university) asked Dendris to develop a biochip for studying the intestinal microbiota in animals. This program is based on the work carried out by LALLEMAND / UMR MEDIS on the identification of biomarkers characteristic of ruminal fibrolytic activity. The aim is to verify the application of Dendris technology in this context.
